How would you define Taekwondo in your own words?
Cyrill: Taekwondo is an instrument to be responsible and have self-discipline not just as an athlete but as a person as well. You have to be more than your presence in trainings, you have to be serious and give your heart to what you do for you to hold the real success that you made yourself.
Anna: Taekwondo is to kick, and to punch. It is yes indeed an art of discipline.
Tracy: Taekwondo simply helps you to develop your self-confidence.
One word that could describe you as a Taekwondo athlete.
Cyrill: I think that would be 'determined', because I am very determined and I'm full of determination. In everything you do you have to have this, determination, because without it, you will not feel the true success.
Anna: one word that could describe me is… uhmm… I'm always nabubugbog!…=) hehehe…(",)
Tracy: I have a lot of discipline.
Why did you join Taekwondo?
Cyrill: Actually, I did join to gain friends, to learn self-defense and to really have fun. But now, I realized that your goal must be deeper. The reason why I join is to be the professional in this field.
Anna: At first, actually, I just want to try it. But I enjoyed the punching, the kicking and everything, that's why I continue.
Tracy: To learn self- defense in order to defend myself.
If you did not join Taekwondo, what sport are you probably into now?
Cyrill: Maybe, I would join tryouts in basketball. Because basketball
Anna: Maybe tennis, wall climbing, and swimming.
Tracy: I think, I would be playing badminton if not Taekwondo.

Unforgettable occurrence in Taekwondo this year.
Cyrill: I won the Diliman Invitationals, and it was a surprise.
Anna: When my lips bleed because of a black belter… ouch!
Tracy: Nanginginig paa ko halos di na makalakad, sunod-sunod kasi drills.
How are you dividing your time in school and in trainings?
Cyrill: During Saturday, studies, and in Tuesday and Friday focus on Taek.
Anna: May training naman sa school eh, kaya nadadalian na rin akoh…

Do you see yourself someday in the shoes of John Paul Lizardo or you would be more than his success?
Cyrill: I think I would be more than him but in different field.
Anna: No, because to be like japoy, you have to devote all your time and sacrifice a lot of things… I don't think I can do that… and he's super galing kaya!
Tracy: Nope, I don't think so.
What is the best advice you could give for amateurs who are dreaming to be like you?
Cyrill: Be serious, don't think of just bonding.
Anna: Discipline, that's no. 1!
